Annual Catawba County Easter Baseball Classic

The 34th Annual Catawba County Easter Baseball Classic, presented by DICK’S Sporting Goods, returns next week to the Hickory American Legion Fairgrounds. The tournament will take place April 6–8 and continues a long-standing tradition that began in 1991, with every edition hosted at the Fairgrounds.
This year’s field features six Catawba County teams: Bunker Hill, Fred T. Foard, Hickory, Maiden, Newton-Conover, and St. Stephens. Joining them are Alexander Central, Hibriten. Alexander Central enters the tournament as the defending 2025 champion.
Tournament play begins on Monday and Tuesday with four games scheduled each day at 11:00 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 4:00 p.m., and 6:30 p.m. Championship Wednesday will feature the third-place game at 4:00 p.m., followed by the championship game at 6:30 p.m. A complete tournament bracket is attached.
Daily admission is $7 for ages 7 and older. Children ages 6 and under are admitted free. Please note that no passes will be accepted for this event.
